Jack Good (1943-2020) was a dedicated community leader and a long-standing member of the Beverly Rotary Club. Born in Melrose, MA, he earned multiple degrees, including a Bachelor’s from Gordon College and advanced degrees in business and religious education. Jack built an impressive career in banking and healthcare, serving in leadership roles for Northeast Health System, Danversbank, and Beverly National Bank, among others.
Jack was deeply committed to service. His leadership extended to numerous organizations, in addition to Beverly Rotary Club, where he was a 50+ year member with perfect meeting attendance, Jack was active in the American Heart Association, the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce, and the North Shore YMCA. He was also a long-time on-call firefighter and EMT for the town of Essex.
A recipient of many honors, including the Beverly Rotary Club's prestigious Four Avenues of Service Award, Jack left a lasting impact on the Beverly community. His legacy of service and leadership continues through initiatives like the Beverly Rotary Club's new scholarship, honoring his commitment to community impact through education.
For over 50 years, Jack also shared his life with his wife, Susan, and was a devoted father and grandfather. His contributions to the Beverly community will be remembered for years to come.
